The KUB type is a long-lasting rupture disk made using a unique laser manufacturing method. It is a specially designed rupture disk that is extremely robust and high-performance, with a burst pressure set by a buckling pin based on Euler's formula for buckling load calculations. It is manufactured using cutting-edge proprietary laser technology, achieving minimal tolerances. Due to the absence of weakened areas in the disk material and its smooth surface, it does not allow bacteria to adhere, making it suitable for aseptic and sanitary applications. It is a robust rupture disk that can withstand drops from a height of about 1 meter without the risk of damage. With a two-layer structure of a sealing layer and a bursting layer, it offers a wide range of material options, making it suitable for corrosive environments. It can be used in conjunction with safety valves, with the rupture disk protecting the safety valve. It can operate at a maximum pressure ratio of 98%*, making it strong enough for high-pressure applications and harsh process conditions with pulsating pressures, accommodating fluids such as gases, vapors, liquids, and two-phase flows.
